CURRICULUM VITAE (CV)
HOJA DE VIDA, translated literally in Spanish, means ‘leaf of life’. Figurately, however, it transforms into what’s more commonly known as a ‘résumé’.
Why call an energy drink a résumé? Because, sometimes words aren’t enough and you just have to prove it.
So, did I get the job?

I (Curtis) grew up in Iowa. I met my wife (Claudia) in Ecuador. We got married in Colombia. We moved to Texas. I launched and sold an ancient grain energy bar business. Together, we launched and closed a cold brew cacao company. We broke. Then, we rested. And, finally, we began again.

To ‘be a leaf’ means to be a force for healing in the world.
It’s a call-to-action to try to be better. Do better. Make better. Inspiration for ‘be a leaf’ can be found in the Bible.
-
To ‘ride the wind’ means to embody a spirit of resilience and adaptability.
“Ride the wind, break the waves,” 乘风破浪 (chéng fēng pò làng) is a Chinese idiom used to describe someone who forges ahead bravely, despite the difficulties.🔗
Heraclitus, the ancient Greek philosopher from Ephesus, famously declared, "The only constant in life is change.”🔗
Now, more than ever, we live in a time of great change. Navigating an environment such as this can sometimes feel overwhelming. Fear not. Learn to ‘ride the wind’ instead and let’s break the waves together!
